The work continues

For the last week or so we have been working hard to get this website in order and get ourselves in order too. Hopefully after a bit of trial an error we can say that the video section of the site should be up and running, it may need a few tweaks in the first few days but it should be about there. A comment section will be added also which we hope you will use to let us know what you think of our investigations, this might take a little longer to add though as it seems to be more difficult than first thought.

As for getting ourselves in order, well,,, that could take a bit longer :) we've been discussing what we want to do with Haunted UK and what direction we would like to head in as we enter 2025. We have a few ideas and a few thoughts that we would like to turn into realities but its best to say nothing for the time being so that we can focus on delivering the best of what we have to offfer. We will update as and when we can be certain of new developments but for the time being lets support eachother, collaberate and build that community.

A new take on things

So today we have began to work on overhauling the website. A few days ago we posted 'a bit of a rant' about youtube and the pitfalls of the paranormal, we would like to make it clear to anyone that reads this that we do not hold any personal grievence towards anybody that chooses to use youtube as their medium and in some ways have nothing but respect for your perseverance but for us it just isnt right at the moment. As a result of removing ourselves from youtube we now need a new place to post out videos and that place will be here on our newly created videos page (uploads to come in the following days). The idea is that it will work much the same as youtube with our videos being uploaded and freely available to watch and be commented on by anyone who wishes to do so. The hope for us is that we can build a community via this website and our facebook page where we can all enjoy our passion together away from drama.

Of course, criticism and open discussion is always welcome and healthy debate on the paranormal is needed. Lets work together, support eachother and make a community worth being part of.

Haunted UK

A bit of a rant

When we first set out with Haunted UK it was our idea to document real paranormal evidence which we have tried our best to do but over the last few months we have noticed shit ton of fake “paranormal” teams who are ruining it for genuine investigators and making it near impossible to be taken seriously.

You only need to go on YouTube and you will see a hoard of content creators pushing the paranormal for clout and likes which in all honestly is a mockery of the field.

Ouija boards spelling out exact information, demon attacks and possessions all happening on a weekly basis in every episode - how likely do you really believe this to be? Come on now let’s get real. The paranormal world is for the most part meek, subtle and nuanced.

We believe that there is still plenty of work to do in the paranormal field and are not going anywhere any time soon but while it is saturated with lunacy and ego the truth will remain buried beneath a mound of shit.

For the time being we are going to keep ourselves well away from YouTube in the hope that we don’t get swept up in the popularity contest. Our evidence will be published here on Facebook for anyone that still wishes to see, hopefully in time the paranormal fad will fade out and the genuine investigators will remain.
